Mission works help open our eyes to the true societal conditions of today. Charitable missions help bridge societal gaps and cure the societal illnesses. However do not commit the mistake of thinking that volunteer works are limited to religious trips or evangelization activities that seek to promote church advocacies. There are a million possible causes for charity work. What we need to remember is that we are lucky to be in a position to help rather than to be someone who needs help.
